Best if the toys provided 10% of the content and 90% came from the child’s know-how. Yikes! I did a quick turn-around. And for the next holidays and birthdays, I tried to keep their toys as simple as possible.

The screen guidelines for young children, birth-age 5, recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) are not fully in alignment with what brain science tells us is in the best interests of young children.
